The most common threat in schools and residential buildings is fire. It may cause huge damage to lives and property. There are variety of fire fighting system which are usually installed in homes and residential buildings to extinguish fire. Basically along with system a detection and protection system are also installed in order to minimise the threats at homes and buildings. This will protect lives and property before the hazard occurs and so that they can make easy deportation of people from building. To prevents flames from spreading and damaging life and property, suppression systems get installed in homes. But it is equally important to understand the types of suppression systems used in order to extinguish the flames. So variety of materials can be used to manage kinds of blaze.

Important Fire Fighting System
Few commonly used fire fighting system used to extinguish flames are described below. It is equally important to select from them wisely in order to avoid dangers and accidents.


→ Foam suppression 
These are used to extinguish flames arises due to burning of wood, paper and other solid particles. It can also be used to extinguish the blaze caused due to oil and petrol. Although it can also be used to smooth the flames arise due to short circuit.

→ Water suppression
It is commonly and widely used fire fighting system which consist of water suppression system. It is installed in homes and buildings to extinguish smoke and flames. It is accessible in the sprinkles and sprays form. However it should not be installed around an electrical appliances.

 → Inergen suppression
This types of fire fighting system is known as clean agent used to extinguish electrical flames, It is commonly installed in IT firms and offices. It is contemplate as the best fire fighting system used on flames arises by electrical appliances.

Well apart from these, fire alarm system is the prominent system installed in many homes and buildings to recognise flames and smoke. These system are very fruitful in detecting any kind of changes in t he surrounding which may involve increase in temperature, presence of smoke, flames , heat and so forth.  It is operated with the presence of carbon monoxide. Few fire alarm are attached to the sprinkles which work automatically when the alarm rings.
