It is the process in which a part of metal plate is separated providing high level of pressure put a tool through it. There are variety of shearing machine available in market. The process involves in shape up a sheet metal are – bending , shearing , rolling , spinning. Shearing machines are used to trimming a metal sheet.


A sheet shearing machine consist of a table with supportive arms to grasp a metal sheet. It is placed between upper and lower blade segments , which ultimately enforced together against the sheet and cut the matrerial. Usually lower blade remain stationery and upper blade forced to move downward.

  •     Straighten the cutting blade before performing any task. The clearance of blade depends upon the thickness of plate going to be cut.
  •     The blade used is must be sharp and can be replaced timely .
  •     To prevent breakage in spring and blade edge , you should adjust the pressure of clamp and blade clearance. This can be done when you cut plate with different material and width.
  •     Make sure you switch off the power, clean the equipment
